Our Origins
It began, as these things do, with a tomato.
It started with a handful of tomato plants and a packet of zinnias. Then one August morning, a single dahlia bloomed in the back bed, perfectly symmetrical and humming faintly. (It was a bee. But still.)
Every season the garden grew. Another bed, a row of berry bushes, a first box of tubers that became a hundred. Neighbors began to gather at the end of the drive. They kept coming back. They brought friends. Today the Order is members strong, and most of them just really like our tomatoes.

The Sacred Dahlia
Late summer belongs to Her.
From August until the first frost, the dahlia rows take over, as foretold. Dinnerplates the size of your face. Tight little ball dahlias. Soft waterlilies that seem to float. Cut in the cool of the morning so they last in the vase — and in your heart.
